My sweet Sammy

Oh Sammy, how I love you.  There is just something about you.  Everyone tells me they can feel it when they are around you.  You are so happy.  No matter what life throws at you, you figure out a way around it.  You inspire me with your spirit and determination.

You learned to moo yesterday.  I can ask you what a cow says and you'll say "mooo!"  I love it.

You also love to dance.  You'll dance to anything, music, commercials, you name it.

Lately, you have really loved to sit on your daddy's lap.

I took you down a slide today and you giggled.  I tried to put you in the swing and you cried.

You just love to drink your bottle while I read to you and rock you to sleep.  I think it's your favorite time of day.

You love to give hugs.  You love your older brother.  You two are already getting into so much trouble!

I love you to pieces Sammy!

Dearest Jackson

My dearest Jackson,

I love you more and more each day.  You crack me up with your Jack-isms every day.

This week we were in a store and you told me, loudly, that Daddy farts too much.

You also told me this grand story of how the rock you found first turned into a dinosaur tooth, then a dinosaur ate it, then it turned into a rock again.

We went to the Farm yesterday.  You loved it!  You rode a pony twice and did such a great job.

Today you and I sang "I shot the sherriff" with the modified lyrics of "I shot the Guarker, but I didn't shoot the deputy".  You also told me that Daddy is the "guarc-master", Mommy is the "driving cars master", Jack is the "pineapple master" and Sammy is the "crying master".

Later in the evening, Sammy was upset and you went and kissed his head and told him it would be okay.  What a sweet brother!

I'm so proud of how well you are doing with the potty!

I love you more than anything sweet Jackson.
